CHAPTER SIX
Jesibelle
Jessica and Sean 1977:
Sean Miller watched as Jessica
left the diner for her scheduled appointment. He daydreamed of a life spent
walking in the park hand in hand, embracing each other with tender feelings of
joy and love swelling in their hearts, of a lifelong commitment to one another;
a home, and children. Images, of a 1970’s house where everything was wonderful
and in perfect harmony, filled his being.
His delusions’ kept him at bay
when it came to Jessica. He never wandered or wavered, in part due to his own
upbringing. The Midwest lifestyle was deeply ingrained within his psyche. The
wholesome intentions and unwavering trust that people were inherently good; had
his heart chained to one woman. He hadn’t intended on being so dumb struck, but
she had gotten under his skin early on. It was like love at first sight.
She’d wandered in
from the street looking for a job. .
