The blocks were dark and dank with the everyday washing by the store owners. The shuttered entrances and windows reminded Jessica of the ever present factor of crime. The history behind the Argentinean revolution was one embattled with civil unrest and rioting throughout the streets. Albeit, the architecture was definitely inspired by European ancestry with rich wrought iron work everywhere. The intricate and ornate facades depicting their origins for all to see were mildew covered and growing moss amongst the shaded trees.
